# dartpilot > dartpilot turns a standard dartboard into a self-scoring game. USB cameras and computer vision detect and score every dart automatically, with no chalk and no manual tapping. Built for homes, clubs, and venues. dartpilot is an automatic dart scoring and tracking system. A small computer runs a desktop app that reads USB cameras mounted around the board; the server calculates each score and pushes it to any connected screen (TV, tablet, or phone). It works with any standard bristle dartboard and needs no sensors in the board and no special darts. Three USB cameras are recommended. Two work, and a third improves coverage for darts that land close together. Games run on dartpilot's servers, so the web app and every connected screen need an internet connection; camera video stays on the machine that runs the board. Play eight dart games (X01, Cricket, Killer, Conquest, Hammer Cricket, Gotcha, Shanghai, and Bermuda Triangle), solo or with up to 12 players depending on the game. Includes ranked matchmaking (501, first to three legs, Bronze–Diamond tiers), dart tournaments (brackets at the board or online), and a single-player campaign against ten rivals with thirty missions and Easy/Medium/Hard difficulty. You can play as a guest without an account. ## Key pages - [Home](https://dartpilot.app/): Product overview, game modes, campaign, ranked play, and tournaments. - [Downloads](https://dartpilot.app/downloads/): Desktop app and headless install for macOS, Windows, and Linux. - [Brand](https://dartpilot.app/brand/): Official logos, app icons, stream overlays, wallpapers, colours, typefaces, and usage rules. - [Play](https://play.dartpilot.app): The dartpilot web app. - [Docs](https://docs.dartpilot.app): Installation, setup, and API documentation. - [Discord](https://discord.gg/X4ZsSFrNTY): The dartpilot community server. - [Terms](https://dartpilot.app/terms/) - [Privacy](https://dartpilot.app/privacy-policy/) - [Security](https://dartpilot.app/security/): How to report a security vulnerability, what is in scope, and what to expect. ## Quick answers - What is dartpilot?
